Newsletter signup

When you sign up for the newsletter, we collect your email address. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.

Contact and inquiry forms

When you submit a speaker or sponsor inquiry, we collect your name, email address, company name, job title, and the content of your message. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures or our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). We use this data only to respond to your inquiry and will not use it for marketing without your consent.

Event registration

Ticket registration is handled by Luma (lu.ma). Data you provide during registration is processed according to Luma's privacy policy. Hackathon submissions are handled by DoraHacks, subject to DoraHacks' privacy policy.

Website analytics

We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how visitors use this site. No personally identifiable information is collected. IP addresses are anonymised before processing.

Server logs

Our hosting provider Netlify automatically collects server log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) as a technical necessity. This data is retained for a short period for security purposes. See Netlify's privacy policy.

3. Cookies

This website uses only essential functional cookies necessary for basic site operation. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are placed without your consent.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with service providers strictly necessary to operate the website (Netlify for hosting, Luma for event registration) under data processing agreements.

5. Data retention

Newsletter emails are retained until you unsubscribe. Inquiry form data is retained for as long as necessary to process your request, and for a reasonable period thereafter in case of follow-up. We do not retain data longer than legally required.
